i watched litany for survival today n furiously going thru a lot of her works rn. i actually see a body aging isn't that wILD. her brain/heart/care/fight ugh

i read this last year for this mfa class (l...ol.... we read all these woc for a midterm crafted on a DEI framework....) but holy shIT taking my time now. also ive started the last couple years reading a lot of poetry bc of THOI and glad this year is no different aaah

sometimes it feels like ive been so mentally focused on breaking cycles that i haven't really appreciated or embraced them much. this has prompted me to a lot! have cried too yes also my research brain is itching

im reading this for book club on monday and will meet the author wee woo. i didn't realize she wrote this one poem that hurt me two years ago but it made its way into the book

i reread this last night looking for words to gift A for xmas n I think this is the one. I was going to order a second copy but it's no longer in print, at least anywhere online. i could message the author b/c we follow each other on IG but been thinking a lot lately about how words move & how to let them go
