So I’m a little half way this book. Now I have been enjoying it but at the midway point it’s beginning to drag along. Some of the recent scenes have just seemed like filler scenes to me. I hope that it picks up and I get some “WOW” moments before the end. It’s definitely a “thropey” Kingpin story for sure. The overall plot is unique tho.

Kat is a lowdown conniving ass bitch. She’s really the reason why Gloria killed that pimp. if it wasn’t for her, fighting his bottom bitch and her and Tender having to jump in, they wouldn’t be in this mess. Now she kicks out Goldie with no place for her to go. 😤 Also I know Kat is gonna try and take Q from Tender. I hope Tender beat her ass!!

I can see already why Tonya is fucked up. Her father and mother set her up for failure from the very beginning. The resentment her mother had towards her father she took out on Tonya. The way her mother beat her down like that for a hockey was unhinged. Then being drugged/raped by her mother’s boyfriend. Both of them need to be in jail! 🤬

I can already tell this is going to be such a good read. From the first 30 pages I’m in vested. I love how Daniel Black writes.

Four friends named Kwaanza, Indigo, Destiny and Ericka. I think all of them are of African decent.

Brianna goes to the hospital after being raped and finds out she has HIV. (I knew it)

Nyla finds out (somehow) that Shan is pregnant. So she knew before she told her.
Nyla confronts Forever about it and confesses about fucking her but denies she’s pregnant

Shadee is fucking Brianna raw knowing that he is fucking men and has the virus. He wants to get her back in the ultimate way by making her pay with her life!

I think Janay is gonna get locked up because of those bodies. Shadee keeps telling her everything is okay.

Shadee also punched Janay in the mouth over calling him out about still fucking w/ Bri. She said he’ll need her and their son before she needs him

Shadee reminisces about him and Brianna growing up together. She helped him set a a baller she was fucking with. That’s why it hurt him so bad that she did the same shit to him.

Shan is pregnant by Forever. 🙄 he wants her to get rid of it of course.

Nyla is suspicious that about Forever fucking with Shan.

Shan blames everything on Brianna. She hates her.

Shan finds out that Forever is Briggen’s little brother when she’s picking up money for Forever.
It was a shock to Briggen that she was moving wait for them.

All of Peanuts hoes acting like P didn’t leave any money stashed away with them. So Shan is in a bind trying to pay his bail.

Brianna wrote Shan a letter about how her a Peanut started fucking around when she was 16. She lowkey seduced him. They were fucking around for 8 years.

Brianna set P up because jar night they got into it and he punched her in the nose. She was mad and wanted to get back at him.

Forever and Shan finally have sex.
Shan starts moving weight for Forever.
Peanut calls Brianna. Cussed her out for setting him up. + Shan is not fucking with her.

• So Brianna set Peanut up to get robbed. He ended up getting locked up.
• Briggen gets shot while taking to Shan. He survives.
• Janay ends up catching a body but Shadee helps her get rid of the evidence.
•Janay catches Shadee having sex with a man.
•Forever asked Shan to bringing drugs in the jail for him. (I knew it)
•Keke only has 2500 for P’s bail (she spent it)
•Shan beats up Brianna

All these men in this book have a hand problem.
- Shan is so stupid for flirting with Forever. He’s going to use her to smuggle drugs into the jail I just know it.
- Brianna smh how you gonna be fucking your homegirl’s brother? She gonna kill the both of y’all.

Shan get into to fight with Calvin aka Briggen’s two “hoes” one named Sharia and the other one named Mia. Briggen took Shan to Vegas for a good old time but when they got back to Memphis she didn’t hear anything else from him until her and Brianna went to the club. That’s when all bell broke out with Mia and Sharia. Of course Brianna left before this to chase some dick named Skye.

Shan & Brianna are best friends but totally different from one another.

Shan is what you would call a good girl or square. She makes her own money is basically on the straight and narrow.

Brianna is a gold digging, city girl ass. That will do anything to get a dollar out a nigga. She’s even in loyal to her own best friend. By sleeping with Mel she likes. She set this one hustler up. I know this will end badly.

The movies left out so many great parts of this book. I would have loved to see that Shpinx and the fight with the spider in the third task 🙄

I’m officially introduced to Young Jah. He’s Paul’s younger brother. This nigga is really crazy. He shot some kid in the chest during a dice game in board daylight. The nigga is bugged!

We meet 4 women. Yoshi, Reese, Rhonda and Billy. All of which are definitely HOOD RATS!
Rhonda is definitely someone I don’t like. She’s the baby mama from hell and a terrible mother who puts men before her children. She’s does her BD Paul so wrong. Yoshi is giving money hungry vibes. Reese is dating a married man named Teddy. Billy Jay might be a lesbian after her lover was killed.

Ma’Dear found out that Mo killed her son. So she killed Aurora 😩

This caused Breeze to Reunite with Zyir.

Mo found out what Ma’ Dear’s weakness is. It’s her son who lives 4 hours away from Miami. Mo followed her there for her visit with him. When she left O killed him with his Python snake (yikes😬)

Aurora called Mo after Guy beat her ass. Mo of course killed Guy. Shot him in the dick and twice in the back of the head.

This punk Guy is really lame as hell. This bitch ass punk going to drugged, videotaped and raped Aurora because he mad that Mo shot him in the foot. Then he beat her up when she confronted him about it. But none of that would of happened if he wasn’t a fucking pedophile because he’s 25 years old and Aurora is 14! 😤

Mo shot Guy I’m the foot over Aurora. Not knowing that Guy is one of Ma’Dear’s boys.

Ma’Dear pays Breeze and friendly (not much) visit. Mo doesn’t like that and pays Ma’Dear a visit as well.

Carter and Ashton have sex. Not sure how this
is going to go because Carter is wishy washy with her.

Guy drugged Aurora.

The book is good so far. But I’m not use to all the characters changing up their personalities. Trae cheated on Tasha with Charli Li. Then Tasha left Trae and went back to New York and started ducking around with Kaylin’s brother Kyron who was recently released from prison. Marvin is back doing dope and Kyra is over him. She started fucking this guy name Rick who is also a Detective.

- Mendesa has a dream about saving Skot. It comes true and she saves him after his car crashes into a tree. Due to him being shot.
- Mendesa finds out that her and her mother are psychic.

This book was ok.

The story is about a girl named Raelyn and her 2 friends Blue and Symba. Raelyn has been dating this guy named Jett for 5 yrs & he was her 1st but he is overbearing, physically and verbally abusive. A guy named Caesar fines interest N and tried to wine and dine her. Blue is juggling 2 guys. Her main Deon and her side piece Zachariah. Symba is the VERY promiscuous 1! She fucks anything moving and has even fucked Jett!
