I had a little reading playdate at a friend’s apartment today, it was awesome. We just hung out on the couch and read together. I had to restart this book from when I read the first few pages a few days ago, but it’s been really cool to get sucked in. The first two stories have been somewhat bewildering, if not totally captivating. Definitely intrigued.

Woke up a little early this morning to read for a bit… tell me why this book is still so hard to understand and follow and still makes me feel so much!! Ursula, stop being such a wonderful and mystifying writer!!

Perhaps more of a thought activity than anything else - after the first chapter, I do indeed think I am not too bad at this whole “frugal hedonism” concept, and I’m gearing up to enjoy the fruits of life immensely after this current phase!!

Honestly, it’s kinda pissing me off right now… and I have many thoughts on that, but I’ll save it for my final review. Trying to get back on track w my reading goal!!

So far, I’m feeling like this book is not as profound as it may profess to be… but maybe I’m just being cynical??

The foreword is HILARIOUS! Like, Amy, you are toooooo funny, no wonder I liked your show

This book is taking me FOREVERRRRRR, but it’s very worthwhile so far!
