Finished this hand-selected small book of poetry, from Emily Dickinson to Theodore Roethke and many in between. It is a nice book to carry with you and read a poem on the go and reflect on its meter and meaning.

I have read this book with joy to several children, who felt empathy for Malcolm, the kind boy who was bullied. It is a wonderful book about kindness at a time in which we see little of it. I recommend it for children of all ages, especially 4-8, and for adults. We all need to be reminded of the value of kindness!

This is a book for children from 4-8. Written by a former social worker who deals with the important stuff, it deals with issues we all have. Malcolm has a very kind heart and gets bullied along the way. His wise parents help him with boundaries & ideas. Kindness is something sorely needed right now, and some of us also know we can't save the world all by ourselves. It is a children'ts book for all ages. ****

Almost finished. Another wonderful soul searching, aware book by Mitch Albom. As usual, he deals with the sensitive subjects of love, life and death with great grace and awareness. I finished the book. It is a quick read, re-read, touching and true. Reflections on how we don't notice people while they're here and wish we had one more day with them.

He took his anger out on me. When a man learned that I, a young woman had lost two men, he went crazy. My grandma taught me that God is love & that those who love you are always with you. This is a book about love.
