Rhys and Charlotte go to find Alfonse. Alfonse tells Rhys that Owain is in Larchant and is smuggling art away from the Nazis. Rhys and Charlotte are gong to go find Owain. They take the ambulance Charlotte got from her job at the hospital. Rhys knows that Charlotte knows Owain from her time working at the Louvre. Henri is a man trying to save his wife by finding art for the Nazis. He shoots Alfonse and his son.

The lady past I read was discussing how the bible is considered by many to be history. In reality it is just stories. It also talked about the library in Alexandria and how grand it was. How the Ptolmey dynasty created it in the Hellinestic period. It also talks about how it was destroyed.

The first chapter so far has been interesting. Holloway grabs the reader in the first pages with a fight amongst four French men and one Welsh man. The reader also meets Charlotte (Charlie) who is American. You get a glimpse into the hardships that the people of Paris have been enduring under the Nazi regime. I look forward to reading further.
