I keep dropping this and coming back to it. Once I left the construction portion of the book I kinda lost interest but I'll wrap it up eventually.

Need an audiobook while I'm pumping.

Went backwards because I finally got the book on my kindle and started over.

I like Coke.

Too sleepy to read these days. Doesn't help I'm stretching this campaigning section out way too long.

I wanted to save this for a physical read but the audiobook became available and I'm hooked. Average cost to build one mile of freeway in CA is $190M?? Kill me.

my favorite part of this section was Texas having a requirement to get a beer license is to get approval from your county judge and Duvall county only had one beer license approved... for Duvall county's judge's bar. lol AND his beer cost 5 cents more than neighboring county's beer.

Glad I'm doing audiobook on this one. I'm getting a little bored of him just recounting his life living through different personalities. It's interesting but I was hoping for more info on the procedure of the medical diagnosis and the trial but we breezed right past that.

Not gonna lie, this whole FCC drama is over my head. Hard to follow.

Lots of recapping in this first bit but I kinda needed it so, I'm not complaining. Also hilarious that LBJ and friend were like "WOW! These Japanese shop owners are practically giving their stuff away" not considering the internment camps around the corner (allegedly).

I, too, would get embarrassed if my pee was too loud on a first date.

This book is like a bad acid trip. I have to re read chapters over and over again and it never feels worth the time spent on it.
