my favorite part of this section was Texas having a requirement to get a beer license is to get approval from your county judge and Duvall county only had one beer license approved... for Duvall county's judge's bar. lol AND his beer cost 5 cents more than neighboring county's beer.

Glad I'm doing audiobook on this one. I'm getting a little bored of him just recounting his life living through different personalities. It's interesting but I was hoping for more info on the procedure of the medical diagnosis and the trial but we breezed right past that.

Not gonna lie, this whole FCC drama is over my head. Hard to follow.

Lots of recapping in this first bit but I kinda needed it so, I'm not complaining. Also hilarious that LBJ and friend were like "WOW! These Japanese shop owners are practically giving their stuff away" not considering the internment camps around the corner (allegedly).

This book is like a bad acid trip. I have to re read chapters over and over again and it never feels worth the time spent on it.

I have to update again because last night i started crying reading this and Kris turned to me in dark dead silence and asked "wtf is up with your breathing right now? Stop it!" Bitch, I'm CRYING!

I can't get over how much I love this book.

I forget how little actually happens in this book lol.

Oh my god and now its a thriller.

Reading this, I am absolutely dumbfounded how the movie managed to fumble this story so hard.
