I'm taking this one slowly because I enjoy it so much. The narrative is fun, and some of the stories are hilarious. The young man hitchhiking out of China was my favorite so far.

I'm still into, but I'm wondering how this can carry on for six more books. It may just be more leveling up and silly antics. I like the characters, but I'm not convinced it will be enough.

I know this book is silly. Sometimes I want silly. I'm thrilled by engaging characters who I care about surviving.

I'm enjoying the story of how this YouTube motovlogger got started. I've watched many hours of travels and listened to countless stories, but the origin is good on the page. I've always enjoyed travel writing, and this book is no exception.

My biggest gripe with this book is the bloated narration filled with redundant clever statements. It is like a Hitchhikers Guide story expanded for the sake of making it longer without extra substance. The ideas presented are fun and irreverent, but the bloat...

I'm enjoying the expanding universe.

I'm reading this because it is the basis for the second season of Reacher. It's it sad to admit that? At least it's true.

Rereading via audiobook. I still have love for Kaz and the crew.

I am always amazed when I read older science fiction. Some of it holds up well, and some are easily dated. So far, this book holds up well. There are some assumptions made, based upon the course of history at the time, that date it. However, it feels more contemporary than I expected. I engaged.

I'm not super into this book. I love Stephenson's vision into the future from the early 1990's. However, the storytelling lacks the dimension I typically enjoy. Tech doesn't always age well. Ya either like the vibe or ya don't. No hate either way.

I am super excited to dig into this one. I have been in a bit of a reading slump lately.

Considering how much I disliked other River Song books, I am shocked by the fact I am still reading this one. It is actually good. Why would I try books that have disappointed in the past? SPOILERS.

So far, this book is entertaining. It is also a bit silly. I like it, but I cannot read it if I am in a serious mood. It has to be for pure entertainment and laughs.

It has been a bit hit or miss, but this conclusion is going to bring the drama.

I've enjoyed the book so far. The parallels between Brandon and Rashmina are interesting. It is an easy structure for a young reader to identify and analyze. It is also fast paced with tons of life threatening drama. I do wonder if the two characters will ever know of each other?

I read the foreward, and I am excited to journey on this spin from a childhood trope. The concept is like learning learning about the American Revolution as an adult compared to an elementary school scenario, right? Now that you are older, we will tell you the truth. A bit devious and jaded, I know.

I'm both loving and hating this book at the moment. I like the way they characters speak at each other, but the letter writing technique is a bit silly (not just in this book).

I have enjoyed this book so far. I am not taking it too seriously. I am just enjoying it for the lighthearted fun it is.

This is a long one in audio form...32 hours. At times the pace is slow, not painful. It is engaging and fun. I'm feeling fatigue, but I'm on a timeline. I will persist.
