It’s looking grim and we are apparently still assembling a group of good guys to stop the evil. Realistically they’d already be dead but then I wouldn’t have more book to read so it’s whatever. I see why this is a whole series now. I am enjoying how the characters are engaging with each other. Also very grateful Victoria did not decide to make the 33 year old man sleep with the 19 year old girl. Yuck.

Okay everything has come together and there’s already a plot twist, I should have seen it coming in fairness but I did not so it was lowkey pretty good. Not super obvious tho. I will say this book is really long, I think I’m maybe halfway or getting close and nothing really has happened. Like the gang has only just formed itself on a very rocky alliance, and we are so far from anything pivotal.

Okay it’s finally come together, still hella confusing with the world building but I’m actually just choosing to ignore it rather than try to figure it out

Still can’t get over the world building. It’s kind of like reading a book in a different language, probably because there are multiple different languages, thousands of different places, and also three different story lines all trying to merge together. Lowkey it’s kind of disengaging. The plot is starting to come together now though

Bruh the world building is so hard to wrap my head around, not an easy read
