Reading for Principles of Discipleship class. Incredibly good. Applying and practicing disciplines daily.

I got it off a bookshelf at a friends house where I happened upon church small group one week. I will probably buy myself a copy. Very applicable to daily struggles, in fact some personal Christian challenges I’m carrying and wrestling with, even though it’s not specifically motherhood.

How I pray that the conviction and desire to serve God doesn’t fade from my heart when a page in the book is turned. I pray that I walk away actively applying the growth He is causing in my very LIFE.

Finished second book of Three. Not as great as the first but still enlightening.

I’m going to read the third book of the trilogy in Alaska, but I’m hoping to finish the second book before I go for my second year of Bible school. Incredible reading this series. Changed my perspective and understanding of Christ isn’t such a personal way.

Alaska? Yes please. Take me home.
