It's absolutely killing me that I'm almost 70% done and she just now is starting to ask important questions that need to be asked.

Seeeee I was enjoying this up until now. I hate this male "she's better off without me" trope. Ugh.

Fighting the urge to DNF this one. It feels really corny. Maybe it's the overly dramatic audiobook reading style.

I will never understand why when you have two perfectly good voice actors, they choose not to do the recording duet. A woman doing a deep Scottish accent takes me out of the story sooooo bad.

Much more compelling start to this book compared to book 1. Although I have to say I'm over the time jumps.

Holly is 39% done with Ninth House (Ninth House Trilogy, #1)

Hmmm. I'm not yet invested in these characters which is frustrating this far in. Not loving the way this book was written jumping back and forth with little context.
