Lo was really ignorant for bringing up the missing woman in front of all of them. She is always needing sleep, and acting so strange.

Although White has written some of my favorite thriller books of all times; this book is sooooooo dark; I just cannot read it. Excessive rape, mutilation; cutting off genitalia, excessively violent sex scenes and I am only on page 44….needless to say; I will be skipping this series.

The WHOLE book so far has been about the MC who is constantly disappointed in her life & the way her kids interact with her. What do you expect if u allow “teenagers” to not put their things away, ride in the car with earbuds & iPads, or do chores? They move to a state of the art house she won on a radio question? And the details about the house…Lordy, be prepared to read about every single detail.

I’m am trying reeeaalll hard to get through this book. I’m all about character development, but when it is half of the book; too much detail..when I am reading about the character development of her best friends Mom and Dad; waaayyy too much…. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

This one is going to be a dnf for me….it has cults and young women having this one guys babies….i just can’t….

I find the writing to be rather choppy, and I have a gut feeling I don’t care too much for some of the topics discussed. Moving on from here.

It’s just now getting “somewhat” interesting.

I can’t…..I just cannot make myself finish this book any longer. The characters are awful. A woman finds a man on the beach with NO memory lets him into her house with 3 kids..ummm..just….no. I looked desperately for audio form so I could see if I predicted the ending, but no such luck; so I’m definitely DNF this one and moving onto First Lie Wins. I’ve seen high ratings so here’s hoping… 🤞🏻

5 stars for me!!! I say this every time….this author can’t write! She has a wonderful way of creating eerie feelings with her writing! She also has a fantastical way of creating spine chilling atmospheres that grip the reader! This was a great short read! Twisty, dark, chilling, and oh sooo imaginative!

I don’t like it at all….way too many characters to keep up…and this is a script right out of murder she wrote….dnf this one fire sure.

Sooooooo……….slow, and way too much detail. Adding to my DNF list.
