I am very disappointed with this book. The first third was fairly well written. There were several mistakes such as missing words and simple typos, as well as a couple of instances where 'horse' was used instead of the fictional animal 'dont'.

The middle was alright until Tony Daniel introduced a MarySue into the plot. After that his writing started running down hill.

Pretty good so far. Hit a slow spot, though. It doesn't have quite as much action at this stage as the first in the series did. More intrigue, though.

Just started. Writing is solid. I expected nothing less from one of my favorite authors.

The story has really picked up and the plot is thickening. Very glad I picked this up.

Just starting the third chapter and I think I might be hooked on this series already. So far I have found the writing good and the story intriguing.

Found an original copy of this at a used book store. So far it's entertaining and interesting in its details.

The story is shaping up. A little background on the main character and some bits of investigation now beginning to set the stage. Not bad so far.
