I love this series by Roxanne St Claire!
I read this when it first came out (years ago) and wanted to refresh my memory before reading some of her newer books. I have to say, it stands the test of time. Definitely would be a different story with today’s technology, but I think that it is a beautiful example of working within the timeframe of pre cellphone and gps data and tracking. Lovely.

I bought this for a couple of specific authors and so read those stories first. The remaining stories were a mixed bag. Most are well written and a few were just not my cup of tea. It is a great compilation that gives the reader a chance to discover new authors. I love short stories!

Love the short stories and out takes, but the organization of this is hard to follow. I keep having to stop and go back to the full length books to reacquaint myself with the characters. Doesn’t help that I read them all out of order.

Slow read. Have to be in the mood to continue. Not giving up, just taking a break.

Loved it! You can’t go wrong with a Roxanne St Claire story. Her Dogfather series is exceptional and worth every cent.

I just finished Pure Heat (Firehawks Book 1) and gave it 5 stars.
