This was fun! Overall I'm pretty happy with it.

Twin Peaks crammed into the format of S or House of Leaves is a neat idea, and it's mostly pretty well executed here.

Dry, but pretty useful! I was reading this for a paper I wrote for grad school. Occasional spelling and grammar errors and an occasional lack of focus, but I found info on cybersecurity policy in Latin America that I haven't found anywhere else (at least not all in one place).

So a friend sent this to me in the mail a couple years ago and it took awhile to find the commute-time to read it. My guess is that when she sent it, these observations felt very fresh and urgent. They now read as obvious. Yes we're all living in parallel universes created by our biases in media bubbles, yes we need to break out of them even if it's uncomfortable. Et cet et cet. Not mind blowing revelations in 2024.

Terrific. I thought this was a great introduction to the politics and potential of AI. Anyone interested should consider reading.

Cool world-building, but I'm surprised more people aren't talking about how the protagonist is a completely un-relatable psychopath who can see the future.
