Picked this up bc I needed an easy audiobook to propel me through unpacking and cleaning today - 1/4 through and I loathe the narrator’s decision to give the cool girl a lisp????? also the main character is familiar (as in I feel like I’ve read her in other books) but unsympathetic and depressing as hell

I considered giving up a few times bc it truly is so long but finally got to a good twist that is feeling rewarding. Love the plague doctor narration in the audio book. I think I’d recommend this on ebook over audio tho. Too complex with too many tiny details for audio.
