I am disappointed that Ms Bailey feels the need to get so in depth with her sex scenes. I am not a prude, but I don't think a good story needs so much erotica. If I wanted to read erotica I would, I don't need it in my chick lit. It detracts from what is otherwise really good writing. I won't be reading any more of Tessa Bailey's books, even though she's a good author.

Putting this book aside for now - reading with my husband, but it's due back at the library....will pick it up again at another time.

I'm finding this book a bit slower going than the first one (Everything to Live For). It's good that this one tells the story from the perspective of those closeest to her, but it does feel like it's rehashing stuff I've already read in the first book. I will finish it, but I am taking a break from it for a bit. Just read a chick lit book, now about to read a WWII book ...then I'll finish this.

I've read some of the reviews on this book and I will hang in there longer.

I have my doubts about a book that has a pretty full on sex scene on page 10, but I will stick it out for a little longer......but the Assassin better show some redeeming features pretty soon, or it's onto the next book!

I really feel for poor Jess! We organised our wedding in 6 weeks due to my husband's visa restrictions, and if it weren't for my family we wouldn't have had a wedding! My sister made me an absolutely amazing dress, we found a disused chapel, where we could have our non-denominational wedding, and we had the reception (only 37 guests) at my parent's house! It was perfect!

I've only just started this book, but I realised I am coming into the middle of a series.....I am going to try to get the other two before I read this - I hate not really knowing what's come before.

Putting this book on hold for now as we need to read another book I got from the library first.

I have decided to give up on this book. I have like every other Sophie Kinsella book I have read.....I loved all of the Shopaholic books......I wanted to like this book....I loved the premise around Surprise Me - but this book just didn't surprise me. I got to of 150 and said 'I've had enough, this book just isn't doing it for me!'.

This book isn't for me.
