Listened to it. Lots of good factual info, under a layer of puritan/ant catholic propaganda. Typical for its age, and admittedly very lively written. Too bad there is so little information on the Brethren out there.

Just read the passage where Stubb went on some weird powertrip after killing a whale. I don't know how this bit was meant. Funny? The obvious racism of the bullying Stubb is quite..... well, the normal tone of the book. I don't know why I continue really....
