Is this f***ing play about us?

This is just a matter of perseverance now. My body is pure hatred.

It’s getting somewhat better. Or maybe I’m more invested. Kind of like a sweater with too many holes but your nan made it for you so you want to keep it. Except someone told me this woman is a zionist. So yeah…

Very sorry for the updates but HAHAHAHA oh no now the big dangerous handsome male lead is wounded and the frail thin not-like-other-girls lead is going to nurse him back to health. I wonder if they will share some deep traumas? HAHAHAHA i cant with this book.

It’s going from terrible to average. Now just reads as a checklist:
character descriptions ✅
side mystery for plot development ✅
a nightmare to show moral understanding and immergence in the new world ✅
Showcase the difference between mortal humans and faeries ✅

It’s just really lacking a lot of intelligence.

Just as I thought it was getting a tiny bit better, get this: our tiny very thin female protagonist doesn’t want to wear a dress.

I already hate this book sooo much! The writing is so clunky. There’s too many words in the sentences: “The world was awash in hues of dark blue, interrupted only by shafts of buttery light escaping from the shuttered windows of our dilapidated cottage.”

We get it … It’s dark, winter and stuff is old.

Friends said to get over the first 50 pages, I did. Now the next 250 for the bookclub meeting in less than two days. Easy peasy (help)

Once you read past the cliché hurdles at the start, you’re opened up to such an amazing story. Yes.

I’m anxious, this feels like a nightmare scenario for my life… Please don’t let me live like this

Solid start
