I’m struggling with this… the prose is meandering and Alex, Jane and Sukie are not particularly likeable. I’m a massive fan of the film so I shall persevere…. But I do think this may be one of those rare movie being better than the book situations

The voice actors are off putting… and has the writer ever had a conversation with another person?

I’ve heard that there is literately/artistic merit to this book. I’m yet to find it. I’ve read the complete Marquis De Sade, which in its way was fantastical. The End Of Alice was so well written, that despite the subject matter - it was hard to put down.

Hogg is hideous & poorly written in the way 50 Shades is to a different genre. Please correct me if I’m wrong!
