I love this book! I was so amused by the antics of Permilia, I read past my bedtime and was laughing out loud at 1:30am!

Been taking my time reading this, since it will be such a long time until book #10. I've missed Flavia and am enjoying this new adventure

Reading slowly in the evening on my kindle fire, after lights out and before falling asleep. It's a fairly gentle story, with a bit of action from Army deserters trying to rob a stagecoach and the likelihood of more nefarious activity from them. That's fine with me ... too much action and I won't fall asleep!

I had to start all over again ... I had read too many books in between picking this one up, but now I'm 36 pages in and very intrigued

I have to return this to the library in a couple of days, so I've got to read it quickly. I think it will be hard to put down once I get a bit more into it, so that helps.

It's easier to put down than Pillars and I've read a couple of other books betweeen times of reading this one, but still a good book.

This book hasn't grabbed me as quickly as Pillars, but still outstanding writing, as expected from Follett.

I got this as a goodreads giveaway and want to read all giveaways I won ASAP. Just started reading and already found items to highlight! I can tell this book is humorous and about online gaming, so yay.

Just got this book and started to read today. I have gotten caught up with Ken Follett's 900 + page books before, and read them in a weekend, they were so compelling. Looking forward to this one

Slow in developing the story, and since I read on my kindle in the dark before falling asleep, not enough happening to keep me awake. I hope it starts moving forward soon .. all so far seems to be setting up the action (hopefully)

DNF - I just couldn't get into this book again once I had to put it down ... others seemed to be far more interesting. Maybe I'll try all over again one day, but I think it was too 'dry' and left me feeling uninspired. Taking it off my currently reading list.

Thoroughly creepy and evil villain, and several equally creepy and evil likely suspects! Especially like that Robin is being given a more central role, though she seems so vulnerable right now. Hard to put down
