First book down. Fun read! Lots of name dropping of famous people from the thirties. Love the fact that Talulah Bankhead is a repeated character. She is soooo one of my faves. (Named my dog after her)
Onto the second book!

I'm on page 30 of Jean Louise's travel home from New York City. And I love it! Jean Louise has not lost any of her childhood Scout soul. Can't wait to get to the good part. You know. The part where Atticus is a racist. The one part that has kept people from reading the book for themselves. Atticus would be ashamed...

Thought I'd like this book about something I know nothing about. Skipping pages and trying to be sympathetic to a very different world. Not sure why I'm finding it very difficult to grasp the intense story.

So far so good. I wish someone would have made me read this decades ago...lol
