A delightful read thus far, and I kinda wish there weren't a few dark secrets hanging around to ruin the festive mood thus far.

Read the first story, "The Blue Bird," which is a a French literary fairy tale by Madame d'Aulnoy. I enjoyed it a lot!

December 2025 #TBRChallenge - Celebration!

I have a ton of Virginia Heath books on Mount TBR, and this is a reader-favorite that has been reissued several times, so what better place to start than here?

Enjoying this so far, but there has been exactly zero Christmas so far, LOL

One of the newest additions to Mount TBR, I can't think of a better book for this prompt, given how much plans change with a parent unexpectedly dies when you are at a fairly young age.

Our last book of this year's re-readathon. We're into the post-Dawn days, and though I know I have read this before, I don't really have much memory of it. Here's hoping we go out on a high!

The week at work is going to suck, a lot, so I'm reaching for the gothic romances like a dying man in the desert.

YIPE, I have to return this book to the library by Monday. I can't believe it wasn't eligible for renewal!!
