WHAT IS HAPPENING?! Every time I think I’m starting to figure out what’s happening, I’m proven wrong a few pages later. I love it! I was even wrong about the mystery I thought was going to be the main plot! Who needs sleep tonight, what I really need is to figure out WTF is happening in this book!

When all the characters are so toxic in the who-dun-it so you can’t pick who to lean towards as the lead suspect = 💯

I am absolutely hooked on this series now lol I adore Carl, Donut and Mongo. Such chaotic teamwork 😂

I am genuinely enjoying this so much. It’s a challenging read, which is a fun experience for me. It’s not one I can read in a day. It’s taken me 5 days to get this far (with a few breaks to read other novels).

I don’t even know if I have the words to emphasize how poignant her writing is. How much of herself can be felt in every line.
There is such intimacy in her story. Beautiful

So I’m not quite halfway yet, but OMG the way my heart hurts for Nsiria and Elara. The world building has been the main focus for a large amount of the story so far but it’s done in a way that progresses the plot. I’m deeply enjoying the story so far!
