Book 7 is officially now on my kindle. I feel it’s safe to start book 6. Let the broken heart ache begin...

YOU GUYS. I AM OUT OF BOOKS TO READ! I have no more unread books on my kindle/ibook app. I refuse to download any freebies from Amazon because they have been so so so disappointing. And I'm too cheap to buy more because I have many vacations this year. The library is out of good books online to download, and if I read one more badly written female lead I might scream.
I honestly never thought this day would come.

2 hrs of reading later... yeah, this is no better. Making it to the end of this book is not looking like it will happen...

How many pages does this mind-numbing, continuous self-berating go on? A 17 yr old girl against an already defined unstoppable "mask" and guards. Of course she ran. What else would she have done. For the love of all that is holy, STFU and move on. Someone tell me why I shouldn't just flounce this right now? I have no patience.

Seriously? I just finished chapter 5 where Alina just held her hands out to be bound and captured. Sometimes she is the dumbest Grisha ever and sometimes she is the most ridiculous character I have ever read. *bangs head on desk* Sure I like Nikolai, but I am so TEAM DARKLING right now. I can not support stupidity. Why am I reading this book still? Maybe she'll die in the end. One can hope.

Finally she is trying to educate herself but if I'm 100% honest, book two sorta blows.

Ugh. Alina is annoying as f@%¥ in this one. Honestly, she has all this time while they're traveling. She should at least try to educate herself in some way. And frickin' grow a pair or something. YOU HAVE TO FIGHT THE DARKLING. Fricking idiot.. Seriously about over just tossing up light and then going back into her woe is me shell.

Enough of the alternating points of view. Manon is boring. Dorian and Sorcha are boring. Even my dear Chaol is boring me. I just start sinking in to the Celaena bits and boom, back to an alt POV... Boring. Going to have to put it down. May or may not finish it. Might have to find a cliff notes version and move on to the next book.

So far I am so NOT impressed. The main characters are entirely too immature for the subject being tackled. I feel like I'm reading a story about teenagers pretending to be grown ups but it doesn't fit in with the whole summary given. Ugh. It is not living up to all the potential it should have had. Don't know if I'll be able to finish, but I'm going to try.

You guys! I'm starting chapter 17 and I've never been so bored in my life. I'm trying to like this. I am. But if I fall asleep (which is a very real possibility - not figuratively but literally fall over and saw logs) then I'm going to have to flounce. I don't want to flounce. *whines*

And I'm actually crying. That shit hurt. Right in the guts and tummy and cheeks. It's the I-am-so-with-you-girl-we-outta-here feels.

YOU GUYS HELP... I have too many books to choose from. I don't know what to read next...

Book 3 of the Outlander Series, Voyager, chapter 11

Does anyone else think it's ironic that I've just started reading a chapter where the characters are discussing whether or not an excessively long novel is justified?

I sort of don't want to start a new book. I want to read an old favorite. It's rainy outside and I want my warm blanket and a comfort book. I need to take a sick day!

Um, excuse me? Am I broke? Because this isn't seeming like it's going any where good.

I'm so nervous. People I trust gave this 4 and 5 stars. But I'm prepared - I read spoilers. I'm going in fully expecting to NOT like it. Hopefully, I'll be surprised. I have a feeling though, that it is "Hopeless".

I just started it, but I am intrigued and pulled in. I love when that happens right off the bat. I hope it keeps up. If so, we might have a contender for favorite book this year.
