Happy Ferlinghetti Day! Had a magical experience this morning. I was at the bookstore last night and saw that today was Ferlinghetti Day. There's a literary crawl taking place at culturally and historically relevant sites across the city, and the first stop is close to me. So I got up at 5:30 this morning, met the group at sunrise at 706 Wisconsin Street. It was fantastic. Been thinking about it all day.
