I just cannot get into this. I want to read this and want to like it but I just cannot find the hook to continue with the want to read.

345 behind the scenes

Getting into more of what I know but still lots I didn't. Every chapter brings clarity into the need for reconciliation and corrections to systems.

Girls not really into the audiobook of this so returned.

Can I wait 12 weeks to finish listening or get the print and finishing finding out how it goes.

Chapter 4:

Oh wow! I didn't realize how history heavy the Truth and Reconciliation Commission was going to be. I am learning so much and I used to co-teach some of the history.

Popular book on Overdrive still waiting on my turn.

A good continue to the series so far and a good escape from.my heavy reading during the day light.

I was loaned this book by SFOW. It is very intense but an interesting read and a necessary read. Excited to continue learning.

Not going to finish this. The author's suggested nature of the relationship between muse and author is interesting look at it but not a rabbit hole I want to go down.

So far so good. A loan through Overdrive so a long time waiting in between.

After reading a The Curiosity and falling in love with the characters, I need a fun book. The A's thought this would be a good book to try. So far the stories are crazy little revenge stories. Husbands beware of bored, scorned, and used housewives.

On hold. problem with starting a borrowed audiobook right as Christmas break and a below zero cold snap.

The audiobook just did not catch our attention. I thought maybe I could listen on my own, however it just isn't working.

I made it to chapter three before I decide this was just too good not to share with the girls. So far we are enjoying the humour, especially through the foot notes. So much to think and talk about too. Libba Bray was already a favourite author of mine, I am so glad she reads this book and it fits all our reading likes.

This is a wonderful book to listen to...love when we are together so we can listen to it. A great companion audio/read has been Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman.
