Not going to finish it-- giving it to Goodwill. Didn't anyone notice how the Americans name was initially Daniel Bryant then changed to Daniel Butler? I prefer books that are edited well as well as well written. This one was not.

CC is reading The Twelve Tribes of Hattie
I didn't like it. Reads like a series of short stories, which is, I suspect, how writer wrote it. I didn't feel connected to the characters b/c each chapter after chapter 1 barely mentioned the people in chap. 1. If you like short stories you might like this. Quality of writing wasn't bad. I DID NOT finish this book.

Actually started 1st of June. Finished by the 10th of June. Very good saga. Even though the last few chapters seemed a bit abrupt, would still highly recommend.
