the writing is obviously intelligent and interesting and there are scenes that i am so locked in but overall this story is told in such a BORING WAY.

wayyyyyy too many characters (all named either Henry or Mary) and so many of these characters actually don't matter to the main story or even the subplots ugh ok i'm fine
