I already like this 20x more than Behind the Net and I’m imagining Rory as Jesse Solomon from Summer House (I don’t actually like Jesse for what it’s worth but the personas definitely match)

I do like Pippa’s relationship with Jamie’s mom, but overall wow nothing is happening it’s just them internal monologuing about having a crush on the other chapter after chapter

I made it to over a page a thousand can I get a reward holy MOLY this book is long (but fun)

not only does this book move a bit too quick for me, i also find it emotionally inconsistent. some of their conversations feel out of nowhere for me based on their internal POV and how they've interacted idk this one isn't for me but it isn't bad i think

Okay I see why this one is the lowest rated in the series (very insta-lovey without much communication between the couple)

This is written so well but a little bit of a downer but I can’t wait for the happiness in the second half I’m assuming there is!!

I have to be honest there is a ~250 page chunk in here that really didn't do much for me, but the last two chapters have me hooked back in!!

it's like good and crazy but I just miss the first 300 pages of this book sooooo bad

quite possibly the wrong take to have, but I don't need this book to be this long

I don’t understand the choice of having Marcus be so adamant about coming across as a dumb guy.

Also, when you remind yourself both of these characters are almost 40 it doesn’t work as well

I mean it’s a little cringey, but also cutie

already enjoying this far more than the other Olivia Dade I read (Shipwrecked)
