This is excellent! Probably going to be one of my top reads of the year.

Mixed feelings. The author clearly loves the lore and the character of Solomon Kane, but there's something I can't put into words yet that does not make me love it. Maybe it's just that it's long form rather than the more punchy, original short stories of Howard. It's a more than adequate fanfic, though, and I'm happy it exists.

It's alright so far. I'm enjoying it.

I just want this to be over.

I'm think I'm going to burst something. The most generous thing I can say is that at least the author took the time to look at Dorothy L. Sayers' wikipedia page. It's not even entertainingly bad; the writing is excruciatingly dull. This book painful to read.

This book does such disservice to the colorful personalities and sharp wits this book is based around.
