So many people have been waiting for this book for over 10 years.. I myself have only been waiting 2 (read it in 2022) but to give you an idea of how excited I am it’s finally out, I ordered a special signed edition of it ASAP and trekked there after work on a day where I was working from home. that’s like… pulling a grizzly bear out of her den !!!!

As you may know I love birds. One bird I have had trouble loving recently is a seagull for various reasons but mostly because they are gluttonous evildoers with no manners. This book’s main character also doesn’t care for them, but within the first 33 pages he has already reminded me how beautiful it is to love ugly things. To see the ugliness and love regardless! How amazing that is

yes there are a lot of characters but grow up and get a sticky note like the rest of us !!!! this book is fun so far :)
