This is a long, somewhat boring read that I put down for a few months and picked up again. I'm anxious to get it finished to discover why the good ratings!

I chose this book because of it's many accolades on facebook book groups. It's been a bit of a slow, boring read thus far. But I'm beginning to see where it might be heading so sticking with it to the end to find out!

I'm trudging through this, finding it kind of boring to be honest.

A childless woman who wants more than anything to have a child. A young g teen who she befriends who suddenly becomes pregnant. It’s obvious where this story is heading. An easy, enjoyable read thus far.

I am not enjoying this book at all! I am simply forcing myself to finish it for book club. If it is supposed to be funny, I fail to find any humor in it! Can't wait for it to be done and behind me.

Ugh! I've plodded 3/4 of the way through this book and can't wait for it to be over. I'm not enjoying it at all. It's boring. I've read other Kate Quinn books & loved them. I skipped to the author's notes at the end hoping they might inspire me. Lo & behold there's a warning not to read them or it will spoil the ending! I'll continue on with the hope that the last 25% of the book is better than the first 75% of it.

It came to me a few chapters back that this will definitely be a 5 star rating. I am really getting into this book and having a hard time putting it down!

I needed a book while travelling so picked this one off my Want to Read shelf and I'm glad I did. I'm really enjoying it and can't wait to find out what happens to the main character, Victoria. An orphan girl from birth, who has lived from foster home to foster home then group home to group home, I am hoping good things come to Victoria in the end.

Really enjoying this story with alternating chapters from the perspective of 3 different characters

Just started this today and I don't want to put it down. So sad to think this really happened in southern Italy due to extreme poverty.

An enjoyable and interesting story thus far.

I'm really enjoying this book. Published in 2014 (at a time I probably needed it most!), it is as relevant for today's busy, social media addicted population as it was then and most likely even more so!

I'm obsessed. I can't put it down! It's one of those "I'll stop reading at the next break" in paragraph then I can't stop and keep reading! 6+ stars. One of the best books I've ever read. This would make an amazing movie!
