Currently stalled out on this book.

This is a good book. It's well-written and imaginative; full of political intrigue; deep with genealogical and regional history; witty and clever. But it's too much for me right now. I am barely keeping track of all the moving parts of my own life...there's not a lot of head space for me to keep track of all the details in this story. But I want to know what happens, so I will come back to it.

"George" just went back in. I 've got a bad feeling about this.

After a false start on page 40 (more on that when I am finished) I have really gotten deeply into this book. Gotta go burn through the rest right now!

I like the story so far, but am having a difficult time reading this book because I find the typeface very distracting.

It seems super timely that I am reading this book right now. Especially since it is about a British woman who is an Olympic bicycle racing champion training for the 2012 Olympics!

I am absolutely loving this cookbook so far. It is written like a cook, not a chef - with easy, charming, and often humorous instructions. Rarely do I laugh out loud at a cookbook!

I am almost done with this novel, and I am simultaneously eager to finish and reluctant to end it. I have not found a story so compelling in a long time.
