Interesting. Hoping the pace picks up a little more and it’s not all about how Anna is afraid to leave her house. I definitely am hooked, though. One minor gripe I have is with all the medical terms. I’m probably biased given the nature of my work, though it feels a little forced to be throwing out medication names every few pages. And yes, I get that the main character is a physician.

Oh my goodness, I don’t know if I can listen to any more of this blather. All the characters are so unlikeable and the writing is way too simple. This is the third book of Kubica’s I’m reading, and it’s the worst by far. May end up DNFing this. So many of the plot points feel like they happen for the sake of convenience. NOTHING MAKES SENSE
