almost done. im gonna miss a lot of these characters (my boy Cyprian!) if only because I’ve spent such a long time with them. i’ve come to expect the sort of ambling towards nothing that pynchon books often end with, so i don’t mind that. regardless of if the characters here are just cartoons or cyphers or parody, there has been a tenderness to them as i near the end.
