Euyn is a piece of shit he better have some amazing character arc or something

I don't understand how people didn't like this book from the majority of reviews I've seen. It's all about character growth and people growing and changing and I think that's very realistic and refreshing to see in a fantasy.

Going on vacation has put me into a reading slump and I cant seem to finish anything I start so here's to currently reading #8 hopefully this one pulls me out of it.
