A really beautiful little book about motherhood and playwriting and so much more. Some essays moved me to tears, others were more like long winded tweets, but the good ones really got me in the heart. Be warned, very much inside baseball for theatre people.

A fast and funny contemporary telling of a play everyone reads in their intro to theater classes. Mind blowing? No.

Queenie was very close to home and I don’t know if I could have read this book a few months ago. Light, but not. My jaw dropped at least twice, but not in a trashy way. If you’re looking for a book that feels like binge watching a great just released season of an anticipated show - this is it.
