Katy inherits the inn from her Aunt to find Mitch already living there and in the process of renovation. Mitch didn't think the heir of the inn would ever show up. Katy and Mitch both had sad childhoods. Katy and Mitch share the same ideas and visions for the inn and plan on a business partnership. Katy has the accounting and marketing skills. Mitch does the construction.
