Am I really halfway through this book and there still isn’t an awkwardly placed smut scene with the words “debauch” and “deeper”?

This book might be the best one yet, I actually want to know what happens with the characters.

Author’s formula for these books: woman that wants to be independent + man that wants a dependent woman + random unrealistic sex = Dream Harbor.

Why are all the adults in this town horny for each other in the exact same way?

This book was clearly not edited. Already, it reads as if the author rushed it out to compete with other advent calendar books.

Potentially the first book I DNF.

I’ll give it two more chapters to improve
