I'm going to finish this book out of spite. The writing is so unpolished; lacks continuity left & right; ham-fisted dialogue; characters are caricatures; can't tell if Persephone is smart+naiive or bold+stupid. DOES SHE HAVE LOTS OF SPARKLY CLUB DRESSES OR *NO* CLUB DRESSES AT ALL?? IT CAN'T BE BOTH. If this was beta-read, edited, or copy edited they all failed (+ I'm not confident any of those were even applied).
