I am really enjoying this book of related characters, and their descriptions of family, living, dying - they are connected through friends, family and countries, and each one is written so differently that it is like listening to people at a gathering, telling their intimate stories - delicious!

This audiobook is about 17 CDs, but it is sooo good on audio. The reader's inflections and the book itself are fantastic. Although it does move around within narrators, it works so well, and captures each character's perspective perfectly. I think I have found my best book of 2017!

Listening to this book on audio, and it is extremely funny, as well as novel and interesting. Ever wonder how your kid can spend 8 hours playing videogames - this book explains it. How entitled college kids think - yep, this book does a hilarious sendup of the rich and whiny. cannot wait to read more!

Loving this book so much!

Listening to this audiobook and just thoroughly enjoying this tale of four friends Jude, Willem, JB and Malcolm. This author is so good at describing the inner thoughts of her characters. Her words resonate, and she has taught me so much about the art world, adoption, the law. There are some very sad episodes in these characters' lives, but the vibrancy of the writing just leaves me wanting more...

Didn't make it through this book! Just not my dish.
