This book is so slow for me. There are so many romance scenes and it’s starting to get annoying. But I think it’s also slow because I saw a spoiler about who King is already.

15% in. Elise has a burner phone. I have so many questions. Did Gabriel kill Gareth? How does Gabriel know of Gareth and the burner? What happened to the debt Gareth was paying—did it get paid, or is money still owed? I feel like it got paid. What was in the file the P.I. gave Gabriel?

Gosh darn it!! I need to know!!

I also have theories about Laini, Cindy Lou, and Amy!

Darius is a Leo with a Libra mark on him. Astrum said and the end of book one that a Leo and Libra would help the twins. Hmmm

5% in. This is hard to read!

“Watch this.” The Nightmare scares Elspeth from the horse. I don’t know if I was supposed to laugh, but I found it funny!

The book is good. I’d still like more of the world building as I’m not feeling like there is enough. But it’s good.

Needs more descriptions. Like character voices/accents. I’m not a mind reader.

Okay, first little bit took me what felt like ages to get through. It’s getting good now. Liking the wings and the dark hair.

Received a copy for an arc review, let’s see how this book goes. If it’s great, should be done in 2 days, if it’s good I estimate about 3 days.

Reading the description, I really want it to be great.
