This book had no right actually ending up so cute and so hot

Gatsby but make it trans and gay and BIPOC?? Absolutely my cup of tea and yet… it’s been over a month since I listened to the first few chapters and I haven’t felt any desire to return to the book. Perhaps I wasn’t jiving with the audiobook narrator? I’ll shelve it for now - perhaps it’ll hit different inn physical form.

Picked up this particular trilogy of the Riordan mythos as my little cousin promised me a genderfluid child of Loki who uses their shapeshifting abilities to adjust their gender presentation at will, and well, what more is there to say? I’m easy to please

Literally ended my review of book 1 by saying the audiobook narrator was NOT IT so what a surprise for me to open up book 2 to find this book has A) a NEW narrator and B) that new narrator is Kieran Culkin

Part two baby! Bingeing this audiobook style, of course. Let’s see how much I get through on this flight from Seattle to Paris
