Ilíasssss noooooooo. I just knew it would happen at some point but like whyyyyyy

things I hate in books are being done right in this story- The romance part isn’t rushed, so it’s believable.. the lust & acting on it before the feelings of love. As mentioned previously, the grief feels realistic.. slowly dragging through the story with a range of emotions. I’m also loving the female friendships, group camaraderie, & whatever is happening with her & Rey. Second love interest or kin?!lol idk

I like that the grief from death of father wasn’t looked over

I love when the backgrounds of characters are explored to show how they became who they are now

Really enjoying the pacing. The quest adventure vibe from the start is fun. I like so much about Silas already, and all these crew members. I see the plot setting up and am starting to make predictions but hope to be surprised

I liked that the story jumped off quickly, pulling me in immediately. Unique set up so far. I just hope I didn’t already predict the whole story — the zap of pain with strange man (obviously mate bond) & her not knowing her family (thinking she might have ties to Kenta ppl).
