Listening to Audiobook version on Scribd

I've finished this book via listening to the audiobook version. I'm glad I did because it was a great way to learn and understand the content.

So much resonance is happening with what was written. It's easy to call ourselves "Christians", but living as if Christ does not exist seems to be easier..

On Episode 74 and at the mercies of Daily Pass... 😱

Interesting book. Can't deny that I may also be a Christian Atheist... (hopefully only sometimes..)

Still at Joel Osteen's erroneous plan of salvation. The author says that the greats of today have it wrong because of the misuse of the word "repent". In English, this means 'to feel regret/great sorrow' and 'to turn away from sins'. But in the original Greek language, it means the 'changing or the renewing of mind'. The former requires great effort on our part, making ourselves our own 'saviors', instead of Christ.

Summary IMOW: There is only one plan of salvation, that is, trusting Jesus ALONE. Preachers today almost often equal faith with works, and that is a FALSE salvation plan.

Got this Reading Recommendation from Mr. David Stewart of jesus-is-savior.com. This book claims that there are lots of "false" salvation plans being preached by great Christian figures of today. I wonder why. Well, gotta read to find out! :)

This chapter was kinda long so I'll read the rest tomorrow. By the way, the anecdote was super funny! I'll try to make an illustration out of it, lol.

I love the Top 10 Reasons for Personal Bible Study. They are very much correct and reflects the reality of this generation. Also, they are logically enumerated!

Read the Introduction first. I believe I can fibish this book in just a few hours. But will read it for a few days, while taking some notes for my blog. :)

Very useful for imagining the culture and reality during the Bible times.

Now on Genesis 6 for the nth time 😆

Most stories are very sad. Why more chapters on cats leaving?!
