Un livre magnifique qui entraîne le lecteur dans un rythme de lecture rapide et régulier. Vocabulaire enchanteur, charnu, rond, jamais superflu, et les mots s’enchaînent à la perfection : « et déjà les rangs de vigne se lancent à l’assaut des collines. »
L’intrigue fait penser à celle du joueur d’échecs mais je n’en suis qu’à la page 98!

At the beginning it's a pleasant and smooth read. Reading on, the intricacy and complexity of the mix between reality and fiction comes to light taking the book to a whole new level; it becomes fascinating. The writer suddenly becomes just brilliant, weaving reality/fiction together. I keep putting the book down to make sure it doesn't end...I'm already sad to quit although I'm not even half way through yet...
