DNF 74% I was so bored

DNF 46%. Nah fuck this. The FMC is a doormat. The book says there’s a grovel?
The MMC basically had an emotional affair with this woman he works with for years and in my opinion is worse than the actual physical cheating. Work wife?! He fed into the whole thing. His family have been berating his poor wife for years and he ignores it. What an absolute doormat.

Didn’t grip me and fell flat a bit. It was too insta-love even for me. Really wanted to enjoy this based on the synopsis

This was such a grief packed book. I don’t usually cry when reading but this book actually had me reaching for the tissues. Emma is dealing with a chronic heart condition and reunites with Alex. Alex is such a sweetheart and you can understand the yearning 🥹❤️‍🔥

Anyone’ else stressing about finishing their reading challenge for 2023?😂
