This is a lovely book, but taking it slow as I alternate with other books.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but E.Jean Carroll is fabulous narrating this book. You feel like you are sitting across from her - she is so expressive!

I’m excited to return to this 10th in the Scottish Bookshop Mystery series. Give me a book set where the MC moves to Scotland to work in a bookshop, meets fun characters and ends up solving mysteries?! Yes, please! 😍

After reading a series of serious books, it’s time for some fluff!

The data shared in this book is almost unbelievable, but sadly it is very much factual.

The book is great! But I’ve been visiting family and so my progress has been slow. Home now so excited to listen to the second half 😊

I usually don’t read these books practically back-to-back… but spending 5 hours sitting in the car repair shop, I knew I needed something reliable to listen to!

This is a fun book about set in London in 1930 about 5 women crime writers who decide to solve a murder. 😊

I knew a little of Jewel’s past, but am finding new appreciation for this strong and woman. Enjoying listening to the audiobook.

I wonder at times… am I too generous with my ratings? Or have all your wonderful reviews helped me choose books I’m more likely to enjoy? I won’t say better books, because we all react differently to books. I know that a heartfelt book edges up my rating… regardless of its literary strength, if the characters move me and leave an impression on me… that’s a good book to me! Happy reading!

I’m enjoying this book more than I expected. Brook Shields is thoughtful, intelligent, self-deprecating, raw and funny.

Embarrassed to admit I’ve never read this classic! Of course I’ve seen movie versions, but enjoying this audiobook. Hoping to add more classics to my reading this year.

I’ve checked out a bunch of vegan cookbooks to get ideas for when my son and his fiancé visit over Christmas. So far this is my favorite and the recipes look amazing!
