I have never that I can remember reading a book where there are so many supporting characters I did not like. I mean sure that is that one antagonist, but my goodness this book had me disliking the ten-year old bossy manipulative child, as well as her adoptive mother, the protagonist’s mother and little sister.

I’m going to shelve this book for a later date. Both main characters are irking my nerves.

Paused until the rest of the series is released.
