Thank god I’m finally reading a good book

Reading this 8 years later (and not being 20 years old myself anymore) I do sympathise more with nesta

Another ARC I was approved for this week - romantasy this time!

However I’m already annoyed on page 1 due to the sentence structure and in general “I’m a badass 😘” vibe from the FMC :/

A guard is “crowding her space” threatening her but she’s .. walking ahead of him? Have they stopped to talk or are they still walking ?? Doesn’t make sense

I’m struggling with the pacing for this one. However, I still am very much enjoying the prose.

I am enjoying this a lot! The prose is very much up my street, and I like the characters involved - I’m hoping something in the plot will pick up soon, and some character deepening. A really strong start.

Me as soon as the FMC comments on two different men being beautiful: I want polyamory and I want it now

Yes, I am once again reading a random ARC instead of one of the 400 books on my physical tbr. Don’t @ me.

I’ve missed books that trust the reader to know what’s going on as soon as page 1 or make assumptions/inferences - I have a good feeling about this one! Hoping for my first 5 star in a long time 😭

All these characters are insufferable (I think that’s the point tho)

I do love a reread. The audiobooks are so good

I’m curious to know if this has been revised or edited before being traditionally published - it’s definitely a bit too long, and has some repeating information (lore about the world / gods etc). I am deffo still enjoying though!

I’m really enjoying this! I wouldn’t say I’m obsessed and expect a 5 star rating but it’s sitting at a 4 right now - I’m invested

The MC is very insufferable but I think she’s deliberately written that way :/ I am powering through in the hopes she will learn a lesson / grow as a person

I am so into the way this is written - first jaw drop has happened on page 27 and I can’t wait for more
