The pacing has slowed slightly and it’s erring on the side of info-dumping BUT I am actually interested in the world and magic!

I’m enjoying the humour in this

Guys I’m so bored :/

Sadly the pacing is really strange in this and it’s putting me off picking it up :( powering through as I’m past 50% which is my new rule for DNFing (aka if it’s <50% I’ll just put it down but if it’s over I’ll keep going)

Feyre pmo in this

I have spotted two typos so far in the kindle version :/

Hoping for a generational run of picking up good books this bank holiday weekend 🙏🏻

Thank god I’m finally reading a good book

Reading this 8 years later (and not being 20 years old myself anymore) I do sympathise more with nesta

Another ARC I was approved for this week - romantasy this time!

However I’m already annoyed on page 1 due to the sentence structure and in general “I’m a badass 😘” vibe from the FMC :/

A guard is “crowding her space” threatening her but she’s .. walking ahead of him? Have they stopped to talk or are they still walking ?? Doesn’t make sense

I’m struggling with the pacing for this one. However, I still am very much enjoying the prose.

I am enjoying this a lot! The prose is very much up my street, and I like the characters involved - I’m hoping something in the plot will pick up soon, and some character deepening. A really strong start.

Me as soon as the FMC comments on two different men being beautiful: I want polyamory and I want it now

Yes, I am once again reading a random ARC instead of one of the 400 books on my physical tbr. Don’t @ me.

I’ve missed books that trust the reader to know what’s going on as soon as page 1 or make assumptions/inferences - I have a good feeling about this one! Hoping for my first 5 star in a long time 😭

I am waiting for something interesting to happen
