Gonna pick this up again at a different time I think - the narrator has pronounced some things weirdly and so far it’s appeared to be a mishmash of Irish/scottish/welsh stuff? I think reading physically will be better tbh

I don’t like either of these main characters or how they think about women, but it feels a bit like they’re meant to be written that way? Just waiting for a critique of them I guess? It’s kinda giving wah wah I’m a nice guy why don’t women like me vibe

I’ll be honest I’m kinda bored

Unsure how to feel so far but I’m definitely intrigued
