Idk how this ended up my holds and I’m somehow reading like a murder romance? What is happening.

The writing in this is grating on me. If I read about Zoe blushing or her cheeks reddening one more time I may DNF.

So far I love this book tbh. And it’s been a minute since I’ve liked a book.

Where’s the bog wife

The world building in this is intense.

I’m shocked by how much I’m enjoying this book tbh.

There’s a lot of pooping and peeing.

This is a very silly book, but I’m oddly enjoying it.

Easy read, doesn’t seem to have learned the classic show don’t tell rule of creative writing. Often feels more like parody and not in a good way.

I love this book. I love the writing, I love the characters, I love the dialogue. It’s the type of writing that feels like slowly drinking something cool on a hot day, but still your thirst is never quenched. I feel like I read it greedily.

I may dnf this. Despite being formerly chronically online, the first half of the book is often making me roll my eyes or skim. The references to “the dictator” fall flat in my opinion and the jokes about him too easy, too done. In a way, if you’re chronically online this has all been done before and if you aren’t, good luck tbh.

I keep falling asleep reading this and it’s probably because there hasn’t been a single visual description of a person or kaiju. Is that a Godzilla? A mothra? Who could say.

Why are there absolutely no descriptions of the kaiju? Baffling.

I’m currently on a Godzilla kick.

Godzilla story is the best so far tbh.
